Tao Nightclub

This is the club that all others try to measure up to. With 10,000 square feet, Tao is big enough to get lost in while intimate for you to find your own place to hang. Walking in, you?re greeted by seductresses bathing in clawfoot bathtub and a 20-foot gold Buddha keeps a watchful eye on the club?s two main rooms. Step over to the lounge for a more intimate experience or check out the upstairs and its clubby feel. You can hang out on the balcony that overlooks the Strip as well. You?ll feel anything but zen after leaving here.

Surrender Nightclub

When a club asks you to surrender, you have to react like Eve; do I bite the forbidden apple or surrender to my impulses? We suggest you just give in at Surrender, the new club at Encore Las Vegas. A sultry green-eyed snake hangs behind one of the three bars tempting you to drink with abandon, but don?t jump in the pool that the club surrounds; that?s forbidden fruit by night. The cabanas and bungalows provide even more temptations. Inside, the tiny 5,000-square-foot club comes outfitted with stripper pools in the VIP booths and figurines of women hang from the ceiling. Don?t say we didn?t warn you.

XS

When they say that Las Vegas is a city of excess, they must be thinking of the club at Encore Las Vegas. XS earned the top spot on Nightclub & Bar Magazine?s Top 100 list, ousting Tao. And this club goes the extra mile with a glitter-laden tile staircase at the entrance, gold-plated molds of naked women, a gold-plated 10-foot chandelier that rotates over the 1,100-square-foot dance floor and VIP booths donned with gold-embossed crocodile skin. Splurge on the Ono, a $10,000 cocktail made with Dom Peringon Oenoth?que champagne and Louis XIII de Remy Martin Black Pearl cognac and served with men?s sterling silver cufflinks embossed with a stingray and a raised XS logo and a women?s 18-karat white-gold chain with a black pearl pendant and XS logo. The party spills out onto the pool area, giving XS a whopping 40,000 square feet of play room. Excessive, indeed.

Haze Nightclub

One of the newest nightclubs to hit the Strip has become a must-visit. Haze is a strapping 25,000 square feet with enough gizmos and crazy decor to make you feel, well, a bit hazy. It's like a dream dressed up in metallics, blacks, reds and golds with hallways that can leave you confused trying to find your VIP booth. An enormous light and projection screen on the wall and a silver rig that rotates over the dance floor bring the club to life. On the second level, hang out by the catwalk railings to look over the crowds below. Themed entertainers beckon behind a voyeur window and the go-go dancers are some of the best in Vegas.
